Returns and Refunds
RIGHT TO RETRACT
You benefit from a withdrawal period of a maximum of 14 days from receipt of your package. In this case, you must promptly inform customer service of your intentions, specifying the reasons for your return by email to: hello@officinelutece.fr. Items must be returned within a maximum of 14 days, in their original packaging without having been used, to: Officine Lutèce, 9 rue de Duras, 75008 Paris
Important: in the event that the return procedure is not respected, we reserve the right to refuse the refund or exchange of the product. Return costs are the responsibility of the customer (with the exception of a defective product upon receipt, or an error when sending the product). Officine Lutèce undertakes to reimburse the customer who has exercised his right of withdrawal the sums due as soon as possible and at the latest within thirty (30) days following the exercise of the right of withdrawal. Officine Lutèce will reimburse the customer for the returned products, subject to compliance with the conditions mentioned above, as well as the basic "one way" delivery costs for the latter if the customer returns his entire order. If the customer does not return his entire order and keeps one or more products ordered, the amount of the "one-way" delivery costs will be retained by Officine Lutèce.
The refund will be made via the payment method of the returned order. Thus, if the product order was paid for by:
- Bank card : the refund will be re-credited to the credit card that was used for the order provided that it is still valid.
RETURN TERMS
Each Product must be returned new with its original packaging. Officine Lutèce will not make any refunds if the Products returned by the Customer do not correspond to the product(s) ordered or have an origin other than the Site.
The return postage will be borne by Officine Lutèce. The Customer must contact hello@officinelutece.fr to explain the reason for sending it.
The Customer must then drop off the package at the corresponding collection point of his choice. The Customer will then be reimbursed upon receipt of the product(s).
REIMBURSEMENT OF THE ORDER
Officine Lutèce will reimburse the returned products, as well as the delivery costs by crediting the bank card used for payment. In the event of partial return of the products, the delivery costs will not be reimbursed by Officine Lutèce insofar as the Customer will have benefited from the delivery service for the products kept. Reimbursement will take place within a maximum period of fourteen (14) days following (i) the return of the products or (ii) the date on which the Customer has provided proof of the shipment of the products (the date retained being that of the first of these facts).
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Officine Lutèce cannot be held responsible for the non-execution or the incomplete execution of one of its obligations if the poor execution of the contract results from a case of force majeure as defined by law, by the very fact of the Customer or the unforeseeable and insurmountable fact of a third party to the contract.
The Products must be used in accordance with the recommendations for use accompanying each Product. The modification of the Product, its transformation, its misuse or its use not in accordance with these recommendations may cause damage for which Officine Lutèce cannot be held liable.
LEGAL GUARANTEES
Officine Lutèce does not offer any guarantees other than the legal guarantees.
NON-COMPLIANCE AND HIDDEN DEFECTS
Officine Lutèce is bound by the legal guarantee of conformity and that relating to defects in the item sold.
The Customer is invited to check the conformity of the products received in execution of his order and, in the event of a defect, to contact the Customer Service Department of the Officine Lutèce online store, which will take care of him by indicating the terms of payment. return and replacement or refund. In the event of non-compliance or a proven defect, the costs of returning the Product are borne by Officine Lutèce.
The replacement product will not be delivered until Officine Lutèce has received the defective product. If the replacement of the product is impossible or cannot be implemented within one (1) month from receipt of the defective product by Officine Lutèce, the Customer will then have the choice between:
- Return the product and request a refund,
- Or keep the product and ask Officine Lutèce to reimburse part of the price of the said product.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
If the products returned by the Customer do not correspond to the products ordered and have an origin other than the Officine Lutèce online store, Officine Lutèce will not be bound by its obligations.
